This project included a 1,312-square-foot addition to the Benny J. Chavez Senior Center, a Santa Fe County facility in Chimayó. The addition delivered a new dining area, kitchenette, and dry storage, new heating and cooling systems were installed and flooring and interior paint were updated throughout the existing facility. The project was completed over an approximate 6–7-month timeline, with a total construction cost of $877,372.28.

The Benny J. Chavez Senior Center serves as a vital resource for seniors in the Chimayó community, providing space for meals, wellness, and daily programming. These improvements expand the center’s capacity to accommodate community dining and activities while creating a more comfortable, functional, and welcoming environment for its seniors.
