The Albuquerque Explora Learning Center was constructed in 2003 to provide kids across New Mexico with a hand-on innovative approach to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.)

The 8,000 SF X Studio addition  planning and design started during 2020.  With construction   

During construction, our team removed old deteriorated sections of the lightweight roof deck and repoured new materials as needed to create a stable deck for new TPO roofing installation.

Thanks to the support and active participation of the City Construction Manager Keith Reed and the FacilityBUILD’s construction team, the project was a success.  Which wasn’t easy, due to construction constraints of the Covid pandemic and supply chain and labor disruptions.
